Ilekedi Measurement (Size) Guide

WAIST BEADS MEASUREMENT GUIDE

  • Waist beads are worn on your bare skin, please don't use your tailor's waist measurement for you. Your tailor measures your "waist" with clothes on and this is different from the measurement you will use for waistbeads.
  • It's best to measure with your clothes off or with skin tight leggings.
  • Choose where you want your beads to sit on any part of your midsection: waistline, hip or anywhere in between.
  • You may choose multiple positions for a stacked / layered look.
  • Take a flexible tape rule around your preferred position(s) and stand up straight.
  • Don't suck in your stomach. The tape should just sit around your skin. You should be able to comfortably slide two fingers in. Too loose and your beads will fall; too tight and they may break.
  • Measure in inches, noting where the zero (0) on the tape meets the other end.
  • Repeat the measurement to double check accuracy.
  • This is the size you choose when ordering your waistbeads and waist chains.
